North Lincolnshire Council is asking people to "share their views" on leisure centre facilities it provides across North Lincolnshire - including the Ancholme Leisure Centre just outside Brigg - "to find out if there is a need to change the opening times."
The council says survey aims to find
out what changes it could make to improve customer services, attract more
customers and improve value for money.
The results from the survey will identify if there are any improvements that need to be made to any of the leisure centres in North Lincolnshire.
The authority says It’s essential that it meet the needs of customers using the leisure centres to ensure that the best service is provided, which is it is asking people to complete the survey and say what they think.
You can complete the survey from Monday (December 9) and you have until January 10 to share your views on the leisure centre consultation. Don’t miss the chance to have your say.
It will only take a few minutes to complete the survey and your views will help shape the future of leisure centre facilities in North Lincolnshire.
The survey can be completed online on the council’s website through this link You can also pop into the local link/library in the Angel building, the Hewson House offices on Station Road or the leisure centre to pick up a survey to complete.
Coun Carl Sherwood (Brigg and Wolds), Cabinet Member for Customer Services, Sport and Leisure, said: “We want people to tell us what they think about the leisure centre facilities currently provided in North Lincolnshire – more specifically if the opening times meet their needs. We are aware that people are living busy lifestyles and that the services we provide need to move with the times. Your views will help us decide on how the service is provided and the best way forward. Make sure you complete the survey and have your say, it will only take a few minutes of your time.”

I think any improvements made to the leisure centre is money well spent...Ancholme leisure centre is used by a great number of people from the surrounding area whom im sure will greatly appreciate better or improved facilities. My own beloved pool is closed until January and although i miss the convenience of a dip a few minutes from home, im sure the newly grouted tiles on the pool floor will be a most welcome view for many of us over-indulgers in the new year....
