The Brigg town centre Christmas lights - provided by our Town Council - were switched on at a ceremony held in the Market Place last night. A big crowd turned out to watch and then enjoy the accompanying Brigg District Lions' fair and market, with stalls throughout the town centre and a craft section in the Angel Suite. Brigg shops stayed open until 9pm, in some cases, to offer people the chance to snap up Christmas gifts. The weather was cold and windy, but the rain held off.
