BRIGG BUSINESS CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY

It doesn't seem five minutes since Brigg Blog joined guests at the opening of the Steel Rooms in Brigg - on the corner of Spring's Parade and the Market Place - but tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov 12) is the first anniversary of this new venture.
Brigg's retail image has gelled in recent years.....The town's attractions appear to revolve around:

B. Pubs which offer good cheer and beer.
C. A range of various excellent eateries.
D. Health & beauty....
But during recent years, the domain of art and craft has emerged as a strong contender. Apart from Live, Love & Create at one end of Wrawby St., The Steel Rooms has created a stimulating ambiance to Brigg's artistic bent.
In addition, the ex-florist shop, once the Hidden Garden (which has incidentally moved to College Yard), is, according to the grapevine, being refurbished to offer a range of adult and children's arty pursuits.
