BRIGG EVENTS IN THE RUN UP TO CHRISTMAS

Crowds in Wrawby Street, Brigg, during the 2012 Brigg District Lions' Christmas Fair when the Town Centre lights, provided by the Town Council, were switched on and late night shopping was enjoyed  circa 9pm.

Make a diary note of the following pre-Christmas Brigg events that interest you.

Saturday 23 November: 9am to 3pm - Brigg Farmers’ Market - Market Place. Visit this FARMA accredited award winning market and buy delicious local food from the people who produce it.  Now with over 30 stalls selling everything from venison to smoked salmon and home-made cakes to sauces. 01652 657053.
10am to 2pm – Christmas Craft Fair – The Angel, Market Place, Brigg. 01652 678848.

Tuesday 26 November: 7.15pm - Brigg and District Flower Society Meeting - "12 days of Christmas" demonstration by Sasha Gallagher (Rotherham), Angel Suite, Brigg. 01469 681768.

Friday 29 November: From 5pm - Brigg Lions' Christmas Fayre - Christmas lights switch-on by cast of the pantomime, craft and charity market, street entertainment, dancers, carol singers, Father Christmas, Brigg town centre, late-night shopping until 9pm. 01652 652979.


Friday 29 November to Saturday 21 December (Wednesdays to Saturdays): 10am to 2pm - Children's Christmas Craft Activities - Brigg Heritage Centre, First Floor, The Angel, Market Place. Free. 01724 296771.

Sunday 1 December: 10am to 4pm - Christmas Family Day Workshop – Gingerbread House Tealight – Various Time slots, Live, Love  and Create, 23 Wrawby Street, Brigg. £14 including materials. Please book.  01652 600992.


Monday 9 December: 7.30pm – Brigg Singers Christmas Concert – Methodist Church, Barnard Avenue. Tickets £5 including light refreshments from Brigg Tourist Information Centre or 01724 762394.
