As we explained previously on Brigg Blog, there's talk of the area of grassed-over land at the corner of Cary Lane and Barnard Avenue - adjoining the police station - being developed for an as yet unspecified purpose, though shops and/or offices seem most likely, if things get that far. We have suggested that if Humberside Police and North Lincolnshire Council do decide to redevelop the area they could include the former Brigg Urban District Council office block that adjoins it - to make a larger and more saleable plot.
