Brigg Town cricketers complete their season today (Saturday Sept 14) with a trip to Hutton Cranswick in the East Yorkshire Alliance division two.
The North Bank-based league is being reorganised during the close season to take in teams from the York area, so Brigg have applied to rejoin the Lincolnshire County Cricket League, in which they played for many years, often with two teams.
Brigg's application will be considered at the Lincs League AGM next month.
East Halton - the only other South Bank team in the East Yorkshire competition - have also applied to go back in the Lincs League.
We'll keep you posted on how things progress.
