BRIGG CONKER SURPRISE

Having read national press reports about a bumper crop of British conkers this year we nipped down to the big trees near Brigg Cemetery this morning, expecting that the strong breeze would have resulted in a major fall to earth. But we found very few near the path outside the old lodge on Wrawby Road. Better luck next time?
