The Cafe Courtyard in Brigg offering town centre refreshments to Brigg shoppers and visitors on a sunny summer Saturday - patriotic bunting to the fore. The foliage will bring back happy memories for older Brigg residents who recall sitting in this self-same spot when it was part of the Angel Hotel. We enjoyed many a good ploughman's lunch there 30-plus years ago between Thursday morning and afternoon meetings of Glanford Borough Council, held in the old council chamber, off Station Road (since re-fashioned as Hewson House and taken on by the North Lincolnshire authority).
