FREE ART ON OFFER IN BRIGG ON SATURDAY

A mini-marathon of non-stop live art from the heart of Brigg is promised on Saturday, July 13, from 10am to 3pm, in the Market Place Bandstand. There will be musicians, singers, dancers, story-tellers and live art. It's all free and will be "showcasing the hidden talents in our area." This event is being promoted by Brigg Town Business Partnership - www.briggisbest.co.uk

The forecast is fine for the gathering of talented exponents of live arts on Saturday 13th July from the Market Place in the Heart of Brigg where Brigg Town Business Partnership present the "art from the 'art" non-stop mini-marathon event as part of Our Big Gig (formerly known as The National Bandstand Marathon).
This FREE event starts at 10.00 am until 4.00 pm approximately and will showcase, in 20 minute slots,  ever increasing playlist of singers, musicians, poets and comedians performing aspects of music and entertainment from Folk, Rock, Acoustic, Popular Music to Gilbert and Sullivan and back again.
It is an Open Air Event so bring a chair and waterproof clothing (just in case ) or sun-tan lotion,  soak up the atmosphere and make a full day of your visit to include the new Heritage Centre perhaps or a shopping experience in our friendly shops - 80% of which are independently owned.
 Don't forget the first two hours of parking is FREE in the designated parking areas in Brigg
