Myself and Charlie Major have taken on the challenge to run the Bupa Great North Run Half Marathon - 13.1 miles. The run starts in Newcastle and finishes in South Shields on Sunday 15th September and we have chosen to participate in this prestigious event to raise funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice.Lindsey Lodge Hospice is our chosen charity of the year and working together with this charity, we aim to raise much needed funds for our local hospice that helps over 120 people every week in our community.
Every year Lindsey Lodge Hospice cares for and supports hundreds of patients from the North Lincolnshire area with life limiting conditions such as cancer. The care is provided free of charge and relies heavily on the generosity of the general public.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and benefited from hospice care and this is our way of doing our bit to support this worthy charity.
Running 13.1 miles is not going to be easy but we will give it our best shot.
We would be ever so grateful if you can show your support.
To make donating simple, we have set up this Just Giving page, please visit https://www.justgiving.com/thomasbellsupportslindseylodge and show your support
Many
Thanks
