It was heartening to learn that the two games defaulted recently by Brigg Town Cricket Club were due to a clash with the Brigg Hockey Club Annual Tournament (many players take part in both sports). Since then, Brigg Town CC have won a couple of games. This old player was a shade worried that BTCC might be on a sticky wicket, but that's definitely not the case.
Bring on the 40th anniversary celebrations in 2014.
