In the area of Brigg where the old gasworks stood decades ago, close to the Old River Ancholme and at the very end of the Lidl store car park, is a brick building belonging to Anglian Water. It's surrounded by a security fence and few people afford it a second glance. But there is a small notice informing passers-by they are gazing upon the Brigg Gas House.
