IS IT CURTAINS FOR THIS OLE HOUSE IN BRIGG ?

Could the most oddly located house in Brigg be facing the prospect of demolition?
We've received recent reports that items stored within this North Lincolnshire Council building are being removed and heard suggestions that its useful life is nearing an end.
When we passed by yesterday afternoon, a van loaded with boxes was outside and the front door of the property had been opened to allow access.
For those who haven't quite worked out the location, This Ole House is behind North Lincolnshire Council's Cary Lane offices, close to the edge of the Old Courts Road car park and at the back of Brigg police HQ. On the above picture we've included the Catholic Church, on Barnard Avenue, to help folk get their bearings.
The windows in This Ole House were given protective metal shutters some time ago.
It's "boxed in" location and appearance would seem to make this property an unlikely one for resale by the council. It's certainly not on a par with 7 Market Place!
If what Brigg Blog hears is correct about This Ole House, it will be the  third Brigg building used by the council for storage to be declared no longer required within the space of a few years, following the old brick outhouses at the Recreation Ground and buildings on the school canteen site in Colton Street.
We are going to request a statement from North Lincolnshire Council immediately after posting this story.
But it looks Even Stevens - if not Shakin' Stevens - that This Ole House could be facing the final curtain!
