BRIGG APPLICATION STILL IN THE MELTING POT

The Brigg planning application lodged by Diya Spice in Bigby Street has still to be decided by North Lincolnshire Council.
Permission is being sought to retain the relocation of an extraction flue at the popular takeaway.
The application has been submitted by Ishak Ahmed, of Diya Spice/Nahar Ltd, for the premises at No 7.
It is expected a decision will be delegated to council officers, rather than having to go before elected members on the North Lincolnshire planning committee, which meets once a month to decide major applications and some deemed to have created significant public interest.
