WARNING MESSAGE ON THE BRIGG BUSH TELEGRAPH

Take care on the roads and footpaths in Brigg at present, as lush hedges and bushes in people's front gardens make it much more difficult for cars and vans emerging from driveways to be seen.
St Helen's Road is a good example. We came down there earlier today and saw two cases of this in a short space of time.
No need to call on the good folk of Brigg to go mad with the garden shears: We just need drivers to be aware that someone might be pulling out.
Note to Brigg and Wolds Coun Nigel Sherwood (Cabinet Member for Highways, North Lincolnshire Council): No problem with tree foliage obscuring the view of drivers emerging from St Helen's Road onto Bigby Road, flagged up by Brigg Blog in past years. Welcome trimming work has been undertaken.
