Our household's copy of Brigg Matters magazine/newsletter (No 26 - Spring 2012) was delivered over the weekend, with a nice, colourful picture of the recent Brigg Balloon Race on the front page, taken by Ken Harrison.
Looking through the events listings, we noted Brigg District Lions' Beer Festival, May 10-12, and immediately reached for the wall calendar to pencil it in.
Brigg Matters is now edited by Emma May Smith who can be contacted by email briggmatters@yahoo.co.uk
I'm glad you've received a copy, Scribs.
ReplyDeleteAfter a recent conversation, you indicated that you rarely received a copy...this is obviously been rectified.
Brigg Matters is a free magazine distributed free to all households and businesses in Brigg by a team of volunteers
And if there is anyone else, unfortunately, not receiving a copy, please drop an e-mail to:
briggmatters@yahoo.co.uk
OR drop a note, via the Tourist Info Centre, to the BM team.
Indeed, there is a batch of Brigg Matters in the TIC - free to anyone.

ReplyDeleteI get 2 comments for the price of one!
Talking about the cover picture, Scribs - you've seen those 'Find Waldo' children's books - the bespectacled lad in his red-striped jumper hidden amongst a mass of people..........then try 'Find Nigel' in the photo!!
