CARING TOUCH OF REMEMBRANCE

Later this morning, from about 10.30am, pupils of Brigg schools will be at The Monument (our war memorial) to lay crosses in memory of those servicemen from the town who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
About 8am today we observed two North Lincolnshire Council workmen who had been assigned to tidy The Monument flowerbeds of wind-blown leaves, ahead of the planting ceremony.
Well done, whoever assigned them to that tour of duty.
