Children from two Brigg schools received prizes in a colouring competition this week.
It was organised by the group putting together the initial Brigg Community-Led Plan – a blueprint showing how the public wants to see things develop in the future.
Representatives of the group visited Brigg Primary on Wednesday afternoon and St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary yesterday morning.
At Brigg Primary, on Atherton Way, Coun Sheila Boughey attended with Coun Alec Depledge, being welcomed by Clare Mainon, Deputy Headteacher.
At St Mary’s, on Grammar School Road, Headteacher Tony Norton welcomed Coun Boughey, Town Mayor Coun John Kitwood and Tom Glossop, former long-serving town councillor and now a Freeman of Brigg.
The prizes were all neatly gift-wrapped for the children to open after the presentation ceremonies.
