Went in there the other day...bought some toasted teacakes - brilliant...went back and bought some aniseed balls, liquorice comfits and acids drops for me wimmen folk.
ReplyDeleteThere's always a queue...Today, went passed the shop and noticed a guy - tail-end charlie - at the end of the snake. Popped into Brian's...ambled about a bit...and when I passed the shop again, he was the next person to be served...I think the scales must be getting worn out..they're on the go continuously.
I've volunteered to be Natalie's assistant and to be chief sweet taster, but she must have been very busy as she didn't respond!
