FINE FUNDRAISER FOR BRIGG MAYOR'S APPEAL FUND

Brigg Town Mayor Coun John Kitwood's charity coffee morning in the Angel Suite was well attended yesterday. The raffle proved particularly popular with the Brigg Blog staff - just three £1 tickets bought from Coun Mike Campion bringing us a very decent bottle of wine and a big box of chocs. Cancer support and LIVES first responders were represented - the Mayor's chosen charities for his year off office. Fellow town councillors and council staff also offered the event their full support.
Pictured above, left to right, are: Town Mayoress Kathryn Kitwood, Coun Rob Waltham, Coun Ann Eardley, Coun Andrew Markham, Coun Jackie Brock, Coun Mike Campion, Coun Alec Depledge, Town Clerk Jeanette Woollard and Town Mayor Coun John Kitwood.
Shortly we hope to be able to announce how much was raised on the day.
On the Town Mayor's behalf, if you went along, thanks for your valued support.
