BRIGG RACE FUNDRAISER FALLS AT FINAL HURDLE

Brigg’s China Royal Restaurant, in Bridge Street, was to have been the venue for a fundraising event in aid of North Lincolnshire Music and Drama Festival.
But the Race Night earmarked for Thursday, October 6 has been cancelled.
This is because the organisers discovered similar events around the same time and wished to avoid a clash.
The Music Festival Race Night is only on hold and will be held at a later date.
Watch this site for details.
Tom Glossop (PICTURED), Brigg’s first Freeman and former long-serving councillor (now retired), asked us to point out the cancellation, on behalf of the organisers.
We note there are still quite a few posters advertising the event in shop windows around Brigg.
