Brigg's allotments - off Redcombe Lane/Atherton Way and Grammar School Road - are run by Brigg Town Council. The trend towards 'grow your own' means they are very popular and much in demand, the rents being very reasonable, we understand.
Brigg Blog happened to be down the far end of Grammar School Road yesterday afternoon and took a few pictures of things looking nice and green - before a heavy shower came down.
Just what the gardeners wanted, though most Brigg folk would have prepared bright August sunshine beating down on them!
