ASHES TO ASHES, DIRT TO DIRT

There was caravan parked on this spot for some time - at the top of Cary Lane, Brigg, very close to the roundabout. The other Thursday we noted a tractor parked nearby in Spring's Parade, towing a trailer containing soil. When we came past the following day the caravan had gone and this was the scene. We knew North Lincolnshire Council were aware of the caravan and now wait and see what is going to happen to this strip of land. Flower beds might be nice.

  1. Nah! The article in the ST quoted NLC....one reason that was given by NLC for wanting the man and his caravan removed was that, 'a buyer had been found for the site'.
Doesn't sound like flower-beds to me, Scribs.....more like 'Every Little Counts'...

  2. It is also alleged that 'Wendy's' has been given notice to quit by NLC..........and Spencer M's, I wonder....
There appears that some things in Cary Lane need clarifying...

  5. Tesco / Lidl meetings , caravan evicted , Wendy's moving on , Spencer Molloys in question ?
This calls for some pretty thorough investigative journalism .
the plot thickens with the arrival of some sand and cement.

  6. With your skills, Scribs, is it possible to ask NLC to qualify their statement, re a buyer for the land?

    Has Spencer M's been approached?

Could it be a site for McDonalds????
