Brigg District Lions are hoping to stage a summer fair in the town centre on Sunday, June 12 - and preliminary details have been revealed to town councillors.
Those Brigg shops wishing to open that Sunday, to take advantage of an influx of visitors to the town centre, will be welcome to do so.
Town Clerk Jeanette Woollard told councillors the summer fair would be a major event to benefit the town.
She stressed the Lions still intended to hold their usual town centre Christmas fair, with its wide range of stalls, in early December.
Last year's Christmas fair and lights switch-on had to be cancelled due to heavy snow, but here's a picture from an earlier one to remind Brigg Blog followers what a good event it is.
