BRIGG IN THE SNOW - THURSDAY

DOUBLE CLICK ON THE PIX FOR A CLOSER LOOK.

  1. Looking at the last pix - the house with the scaffolding and the perching snow slab reminds me of the thunderous rumble and massive crash in the Market Place at about 2pm today.
Three local teenagers, exclaimed, '£"^%() &^££! That was bl**dy dangerous!' as a massive roof slab of snow dashed itself to death near the pub entrance of the Lord Nelson.

From now on I'm not going to stand under the eaves of piched roofs unless I wearing a tin hat. I'm too young to be snowballed by an avalanche!

  2. Scribs, if we jack-up the far corner of Brigg, the Town Council could advertise it as a quaint ski resort.
    We could use Mrs F's washing-line as a ski-tow.
Do you think the proposal will pass muster with the Community-Led Plan?

  3. Pleased you like the "overhang" pic, Ken. North Lincolnshire Homes are (were) re-roofing many properties on that estate. Just the weather for it! Clearly not a job best left to the summer months. That would be the NEXT financial year and we know how things work.

  4. Nige - Yah!
It's good to see that the workmen have erected scaffolding to catch fall-off.
This is what I call proactive thinking.
