SHORT FILLER STORY

We've been back along Ash Grove, Brigg, and note the numerous potholes are still awaiting the arrival of the highway repair team. They must have a very long list to contend with - but this street is certainly the worst we've seen in the area.

  1. Nige, re the pot-holes - The local police have issued warnings that some scallies are nicking tarmac. With the economic recession, recycable taremac gets a good price at the scrap-yard.
One trick the scallies are using is that they are re-heating it and selling the stuff back to the local authority.
In Hull, a whole street disappeared over-night.
It may be useful to establish whether the pot-holes in Ash Grove have been caused by frost damage, or activities noctunal of some shady individuals.
