TIME TO FILL

A further nomination for Brigg's most prominent pothole in need of repair, following the icy winter weather. This deep one's on well-used Wesley Road - a main route down to the Springbank estate and across Glebe Road to Wrawby Road.
Now to more on the Barnard Avenue traffic hold-ups of recent days...At 8.45 this morning a North Lincolnshire Council roadsweeping machine was progressing very slowly, cleaning the A18. A worthwhile task but why do it during the busiest period of the day for traffic?
Much more sensible...Also observed on Barnard Avenue this morning, a school bus negotiating the Monument and then using the bus stop near the White Horse to drop off its young passengers, rather than driving down Wesley Road and Grammar School Road.

  1. Bridge Street is really bad too, massive hole near kiln Lane junction and the pavement near my house is terrible, a woman tripped fell over on it on Saturday morning. I have rung the council.
While on Roads and things, litter really bad on Bridge Street as well, frequently thrown / blown into my garden or stuck in the hedge despite there being a litter bin on the bus stop nearby. Atherton Way looks like a rubbish tip, there is so much rubbish in the hedge bottoms, not nice when walking to school.
