A...I'm going to be the Devil's advocate....<br />Accepting that the Macmillan group is a very good cause, however, I would argue that in promoting the event, I would want maximum publicity.....yet there is no info about it in the events' calender of the TIC, nor will there be in the next issue of Brigg Matters, which is due out within the next fortnight.<br />One of the biggest problems that I repeatedly encounter in Brigg and district is that many groups work extremely hard in preparing for an event, but they pay insufficient attention in advertising/promoting it.<br />There are so many ways that groups can raise public awareness of a happening...but how many groups exploit these facilities?<br />As a member of the Brigg Matters team, I often come across an event by accident..very few groups actually inform us that an event will be happening, so, perhaps, we can put it in the magazine's diary of future events or even make an article/take pic of the occurrence......we do not have a crystal ball...
