The Brigg Festival of Christmas Trees opens today (Thursday, December 12) at St John's Church, from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free - pop in and take a look or go along tomorrow or Saturday. Opening hours on Sunday (December 15) will be 11am to 1pm.
The second half of the festival begins on Thursday 19th at 10am, continuing on the Friday and Saturday and ending on Sunday 22nd at 1pm.
In addition, the Nukulees Ukulele Band, from Grimsby, will be performing at the church on Friday, December 13 (7pm). Tickets cost £5 - available from Brigg Tourist Information in the Buttercross.
Friday 13th will also see a Christmas Storytime session at the church, from 10am to 11am. Join North Lincolnshire Libraries and local children.
The Brigg Churches Together Choir will be performing Graham Kendrick's The Gift at St John's Church on Saturday, December 21, from 7pm. Admission is free - tickets being available from Tourist Information.
Barnetby Silver Band will be playing at the Brigg Town Carol Service in St John's Church on Sunday, December 22, from 2pm. Refreshments will be served later in the Church Hall, Bigby Street.
There's still time to obtain cards in memory of friends and family to be displayed on the Tree of Light in Chapel Court. They cost £5 and are available from Design Orchard, E-Cig, Cure DM, Brigg Carers’ Support, St John’s Church, Brigg Methodist Church, The Deli Diner, Co-op Funeralcare, Naylors Funeral Directors and Brigg Tourist Information.
