BRIGG CARE HOME RATED 'OUTSTANDING' AND IN TOP THREE PER CENT NATIONALLY

A Brigg care home has been rated "outstanding" by the national Care Quality Commission, making it one of the best in Britain.
Tracy Mussett, Manager of Orchard Court, on Wrawby Road, revealed the rating awarded following an unannounced inspection by the CQC.
She told Brigg Blog that Orchard Court is among only 3% in the country to be rated outstanding.
The CQC inspection looks at the following factors:

• Safe
• Effective
• Caring
• Responsive
• Well led

Giving an overall outstanding rating, the report said: "The provider and management team had considerable and exhaustive procedures in place to assess the quality of the  service, people's welfare and everyone's safety."
