COMMITTEE CHAIRED BY BRIGG & WOLDS COUNCILLOR TO CONSIDER APPLICATIONS OF LOCAL INTEREST TODAY

North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee,  which is chaired by Brigg & Wolds Ward representative Coun Nigel Sherwood, pictured,  will be considering two applications of local interest when its monthly meeting is held today (Wednesday, July 4).
The meeting will be at Scunthorpe Civic Centre, off Ashby Road, starting at 2pm and is open to interested members of the public.
A lengthy agenda includes the following:
BROUGHTON: Remove condition restricting occupation of dwelling to persons employed in the kennels business,  Kennels & Cattery, Heron Lodge access road.
HIBALDSTOW: Vary planning condition to increase the processing tonnage from 35,000 tonnes to no more than 48,000 tonnes per annum of non-waste plant material, Biomass Facility, Hibaldstow Airfield, Redbourne Road.
Local parish/town council objections have been lodged to both applications. However, it is up to elected councillors serving on the planning committee to decide whether or not to grant permission.
