BRIGG CRICKETER MAKES LEAGUE HONOURS LIST ON WEEKEND OF HIGH SCORES

A Brigg Town Cricketer has made the Lincolnshire County Cricket League's coveted Honours Board for performances on Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1.
His was one of SIX centuries scored in games played across five divisions and the Supplementary Cup.
Brigg's Matthew Bell hit an impressive 116 not out against Keelby 2nds, but four other strokemakers managed higher scores elsewhere.
There were very few notable bowling performances at the weekend - reflecting the high temperatures and dry conditions which saw bat dominating ball at many grounds across the league, and a few fielding sides feeling the heat!
