A sizeable reduction in Brigg crime is revealed in the latest official statistics.
Information released through www.police.uk shows there were 31 reported crimes during February 2018.
There had been 41 recorded the previous month (January).
During February, of the 31 total crimes, seven took place within the town centre, five on the Springbank housing estate and four on Newlands.
By way of comparison, February 2017 and February 2016 both saw 48 crimes.
The police  statistics refer to crimes within a one-mile radius of Brigg town centre, taking in some adjoining parts of Wrawby, Scawby and Broughton parishes.
