MANY MORE LITTER BINS TO BE PROVIDED IN BRIGG

Ten new litter bins are to be provided in Brigg.
Brigg Town Council has carried out an extensive audit and decided that five large bins and five smaller ones are required.
The locations will be made known as a later date.
Coun Rob Waltham said much thought had gone into the task and no-one should think bins were being bought "for the sake of it."
Couns Jane Kitching and Brian Parker were also  involved in the audit of town bins, and Coun Kitching presented findings to Monday night's Town Council meeeting in the Angel Suite.
Litter bin working party members were thanked for their efforts  by Town Mayor Coun Sharon Riggall.
Coun Tina Campbell expressed concern about dog bin provision and this issue is expected to be considered in the near future.

Just a profound thought....with the environmental aim of reducing the use of plastic bags/packaging during the next decade, or so, what can be used instead of doggie poop bags?
