BRIGG CHRISTMAS RAFFLE WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED




FROM BRIGG TOWN BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

The Tree of Light organised by The Brigg Town Business Partnership which has stood in Chapel Court (just off the Old Courts car park) from Monday November 20th  will be switched off during a short informal service on Saturday January 6th 2018 at 3.00pm where there will be the opportunity to light candles as names of loved ones are read out . Weather permitting there will also be live music.
The tree has provided an opportunity for all members of the community to place a memory card on it in remembrance of departed loved ones. 

Memory cards are available until Friday January 5th from Design Orchard, E-cig, Rosa, Carers’ Support Centre, St John’s Church, Brigg, Brigg Methodist Church, The Deli Diner; Co-op Funeralcare, Naylors Funeral Directors   and Brigg Tourist Information Centre. 
There is also be a Book of Remembrance at The Tourist Information Centre (in the Buttercross) until January 5th for those who want to record an entry for a loved one in addition to placing a memory card on the tree.
All monies raised will be donated to the Carers’ Support Centre in Brigg who touch the lives of many local individuals and families during difficult times, and to the Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy Fight – a charity run by Rosa in Brigg, which helps children suffering from a serious muscle wasting condition and supports local families.
All are very welcome at this final service at the end of which the names of all the Tree of Light Raffle winners will be announced.
