A further 29 new homes are planned in Brigg.
An outline planning application for residential development "with all matters reserved" is now being considered by North Lincolnshire Council.
It relates to Plot 3, Atherton Way, and has been submitted by CLS Civil Engineering Ltd.
The site is situated on the northern side of Atherton Way and currently has permission for commercial use.
It is opposite Brigg Primary School and close to the M180.
A report sent to the council in support of the application says: "The housing suggested for the site would be 2 and 3-bedroom dwellings, which would appeal to first time buyers, young families and professionals."
The total site area is 0.5 hectares and the suggested housing number is 29.
CLS Civil Engineering also has an application under consideration to build a further 67 homes at another location in Brigg.
