40 TAKE THE TRAIN TO VISIT BRIGG BUSINESSES & SEE WHAT OUR TOWN HAS TO OFFER

More than 40 people took advantage of the Saturday-only passenger train service to visit Brigg at the weekend.
This has been revealed by Paul Johnson on his Brigg Line Blog.
He describes it as an excellent day for passenger numbers.
Many of Saturday's travellers were using the Sheffield-Brigg-Cleethorpes route for the first time.
Trains will be running again along the Brigg line this Saturday (May 5).

Rail campaigner Paul is pictured above on Brigg station. We chatted on the County Bridge mid-morning last Saturday. His first port of call is usually the Deli & Diner, on Wrawby Street, for a hearty breakfast!

Now we have to convert these visitors into tourists.
Definition of tourist...a person who visits a location and stops overnight.
For every £5/10 a visitor spends, a tourists spends 10 times more.
However, Brigg has a shortage decent (there are exceptions)hotel accommodation.
