£10K+ NOW RAISED FOR CHARITY BY BRIGG GROUP

People in the Brigg area have given generously whenever fundraising has been undertaken by the Brigg Pancreatic Cancer Group over many months.
Spokesman Andrew Markham, pictured above, now tells Brigg Blog that another welcome donation has been received.
He works for DFL at Scunthorpe and the DHL Foundation has contributed £1,628 as part of a Match It Programme.
"This means that since August 2015 (the bike ride) I estimate we have now raised over £10,000 for Pancreatic Cancer," Andrew told Brigg Blog.
"More importantly, you have helped us in our aim to raise awareness.
"Many thanks for your continuing support."
Andrew, Zoe Hall and Lesley Whitehand, of the Brigg group, were among recent winners of the Joseph J Magrath Award for community service, presented by the Town Council.
