KEEN TO IMPROVE BRIGG SCOUT HUT ACCESSIBILITY

Improvement work is planned at the Brigg Scout Hut.
Planning permission is being sought to install a ramp to the front door with safety handrails, remove a section of boundary wall and install a new front door.
The hut is located in Paradise Place, Elwes Street.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering the application from 1st and 2nd Brigg Scouts.
Planners have been told: "The applicant is keen to improve the accessibility of the site, particularly for wheelchair users. The site is used to host scouting events for in the order of 80-100 local children.
"It is hoped that the improvements proposed will increase this number by making the facility more accessible."
