We did a double take as we walked along Spring's Parade the other day, returning to gaze at the display of Christmas-themed goods in the window of the Sue Ryder charity shop.
July not half done and Christmas is already coming!

An American magazine, Forbes, produces a list of the world's richest fictional characters.
It looks at their fictional wealth compared with reality.
The list has included such characters as Mr Burns from the Simpsons, Willy Wonka, Mr Monolopy Man and Bruce Wayne - Spiderman.
Until about 5 years ago Father Christmas was included...but because of the overwhelming evidence of his real existence from children, toys appearing in the middle of the night, as well as food and drink, left out for him, disappearing....Father Christmas was removed from the list....
