TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS EVENT COMING TO BRIGG

A Brigg organisation is already working on a major event for Christmas 2016.
We refer to Brigg District Lions and their annual Christmas Market in the town centre.
This goes hand-in-hand with the switching on of the Christmas lights, provided by Brigg Town Council.
The Lions have to go through the process of applying to North Lincolnshire Council for permission to operate the one-day market. Hence the application.
It will be considered during Brigg Town Council's next monthly meeting on Monday evening.
Brigg Town Council has to be informed of all licensing applications.
The Town Council meeting will be held on Monday, May 16 in the Angel Suite, starting at 7.15pm.
This is open to interested members of the public. If you are planning to attend, entry to the Angel Suite in the evening is through the Rotunda (conservatory-like building) off the rear car park.

AGENDA

1. Notice convening the meeting.

2. To Receive Apologies and Reasons for Absence

3. To Consider the suspension of the Meeting for the Purpose of Prayer.

 4. a)  To Record any Declarations of Interest by any member of the council in respect of the agenda items listed below.  Members declaring interests should identify the Agenda Item and the type of interest being declared.

b)  To note any dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of the Agenda Items listed below.

5.       To Consider amendments to the existing Grants & Donations Policy in light of the recent increase made to the available budget from £1,500 to £10,000.

6. TO CONSIDER ANY PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED, INCLUDING ANY ADDITIONAL PLANS PUBLICISED BUT RECEIVED AFTER THE AGENDA WAS CIRCULATED:

You are right! I too want to make this year’s Christmas party pleasurable. Have already started working towards it. Have started gathering quotes from corporate events Chicago venues as last time, our company’s event wasn’t that good due to lack of time.
