BRIGG TOWN CRICKETERS BEATEN ON THEIR TRAVELS

Brigg Town Cricket Club suffered a heavy defeat  in division four of the Lincolnshire County Cricket League yesterday (Saturday, May 7).
Home side Marshalls, of Gainsborough, rattled up 207 for eight in their 45 overs, with Phil Dewfall, Jack Richards and Sam Rooker each taking two wickets for Brigg.
Town were 110 all-out, opener Nick Beacock scoring 53 and Andrew Dixon 19 in the middle-order.
This Saturday (May 14) Brigg will journey down the A18 to meet Keelby 2nds (1.30pm).
